Nothing is collected automatically
This website is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies on its own, runs no analytics or advertising, and loads no content from third-party servers. Visiting the site does not give us your personal information. The only cookie this site can set is the consent preference, recorded only if you use the consent banner — see the cookie notice.
What we do receive is what you choose to send us: typically your email address and the content of your message, when you email hello@qoslab.net or open a mailto link on this site.
Why we keep what you send us
We use the information you send us to respond to your enquiry, discuss our services, and — where you ask — prepare a proposal or estimate. We do this on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in replying to communications we receive, and to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.
We do not send marketing material unless you ask for it.
We don’t sell your information
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We may share it with service providers (for example, email and office tools) only to the extent needed for the purposes above, and only where they process it on our instructions. We may disclose information where the law or a regulator requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep correspondence while we are actively engaged with you, and delete it once it is no longer needed. Records we are legally required to keep, such as accounting records, are kept for the period the law requires.
International transfers
QOS LAB operates from the UAE as an independent company. Where personal information moves across borders — for example between the EU/EEA and the UAE — we rely on the legal grounds available under the GDPR or the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021), such as recognised adequacy or safeguard mechanisms.
Your rights over your information
Depending on where you are, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and to object to its processing. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@qoslab.net or write to the address above, and we will respond within one month. You may also complain to your local data protection authority — in the EU/EEA, to the authority where you live.
How we protect it
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information you send us. Email in transit is not end-to-end encrypted, so please don’t include sensitive data such as passwords or payment card numbers in messages.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies on its own and uses no tracking or analytics of any kind. The only exception is the consent banner: if you record a preference, one strictly-necessary cookie (qoslab_consent) stores your accept or reject choice. It contains no personal data and lasts six months.
The short version is on the cookie notice; the long version is that there is nothing more to disclose — the site makes no third-party requests at all.
